Preface: 

To note, there are 2 POS Counter Versions that must have the manual patching process started from a specific patch, with the following patches applied in sequence, to be properly applied: 


V231.1: Start from Patch 009 until the latest patch available. 

V232.2: Start from Patch 009 until the latest patch available.

V231.1009010, 011, 012, .etc
Patch done in sequence until latest patch reached.
V232.2009010, 011, 012, .etc
Patch done in sequence until latest patch reached.



For the Windows 7 "Patch Failed" error, please follow the steps below to conduct a manual patch process (Contact support to confirm what is latest patch version before proceeding):



*For the steps below the '017' folder/file name might be different depending on the latest Patch version.*



1: Download the latest patch files with the backend URL in the web browser:


https://xxxxx.arms.com.my/installer_files/arms_pos/patcher/2XX.X/0XX.zip

or

https://xxxxx.arms-go.com/installer_files/arms_pos/patcher/2XX.X/0XX.zip




2: Extract the downloaded zip file.




3: Copy the files in the extracted folder and replace them in the "ARMS POS" directory.




4: If the extracted file is in another folder directory, the file must be replaced in the folder within the "ARMS POS" directory with the same name (include > include).




5: In the "ARMS POS" patcher directory (ARMS POS\misc\patcher), create a text file (.txt) named "patcher_version" and insert the POS Counter version and patch no. (Example: Ver 231.1, Patch 017 = 231.1-017).
