Before proceeding please take note of the following:

● The method to Setup POS Counter via Token is only applicable for Counter Version 221 or above.

● The User needs to have the User Level of “System Admin” in order to Generate Token.



Generating Token from Backend


1. Navigate to Master Files > Branch > Add / Edit




2. Click on the “Branch Server Settings” icon.




3a. Click on the “Generate” icon.

3b. Select the Validity Type as Hour(s), Day(s), or Lifetime.

3c. Insert the Validity Period [For Hour(s) and Day(s) only].

3d. Click on Save to complete generating the token.

Note: When Validity Type is “Hour(s)”, the Validity period cannot be more than 24 hours.




4. The pop-up as shown in the image below will appear when the Token is successfully generated. Click on OK to close the pop-up.




5. After the Token is Successfully generated, the Token and Validity period will be shown in the Branch Server Settings as shown below.





Using Token on POS during Initial Setup


1a. Insert the POS Image Server URL.

1b. Tick the “Use Token” checkbox.

1c. Insert the Token that’s generated during the previous steps.

1d. Click on “Get Info” to proceed.




2. Select the appropriate Counter to set up, and click on the “Setup” icon to proceed.

Note: The Token can only be used to set up Branch that the Token is generated for.

Example: The token generated is from “0003” branch, and the token can only be used to set up “0003” branch’s counters.




3. Wait for the set up process to complete.




4. Once the Setup is completed, the following message will appear. Closethe pop-up message and Restart the Device before running the ARMS POS program.
