Thermal Receipt Printer Issues:
In the event that the Thermal Receipt Printer / Cash Drawer is not functional, please ensure the following:
- LAN Network Is Functional With All Connecting Ports Lighting-Up
- IP Range Of All Devices Is Within Range, and Unique To Their Respective Devices.
- The Main Apps Have Their "Local Network" Option Enabled In Their iPad Settings.
Mobile Terminal Pairing / Connectivity Issues:
In the event that there is difficulty in pairing/maintaining the Main Terminal and Mobile Terminal connection, please ensure the following:
- There Is An Available Mobile Terminal Slot In The Main Terminal
- WiFi Network Is Functional With Good Signal Strength
- IP Range Of Both Devices Is Within Range, And Unique To Their Respective Devices.
- Both Apps Have Their "Local Network" Option Enabled In Their iPad Settings.
- Auto-Lock is set to "Never" On Both Devices
Additionally, beginning from Mobile Terminal Ver 2.5.50 onwards, Mobile Terminals will house a "Server Status" Module which enables Users to verify their connection to the Main Terminal. To utilize the Module:
#1: In the Mobile Terminal Page, Click on "Settings" (Gear Cog Icon). In the Panel that appears, click on "Server Status" or the IP Address if the Mobile Terminal has been previously paired.
#2: In the Server Status panel, insert the Main Terminals IP Address and the Port (Default: 8000) into the field. Click on "Connect" to test the Mobile Terminal and Main Terminal connection.
#3: A popup will appear to indicate the connection status and display the Server Status Code in the Mobile Terminal. Additionally, a popup will also be in the Main Terminal to indicate a successful connection.
A reference of Server Status Codes is as follows:
The ideal result would be "Server Status Code: 200". Any other Server Status Codes indicate an underlying issue with the F&B App Network.
