Step 1: Login to the Backend.


Step 2: Navigate to the POS Settings Option via Front End > Settings > POS Settings.




Step 3: If accessing POS Settings from HQ, select the relevant Branch from the dropdown menu. If from Branch then skip this step and proceed with Step 4.




Step 4: Select "Check Decimal Quantity" and select value with "Yes".

Step 5: Once confirmed, click on the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.


Step 6: Allow 15 to 30 Minutes for the Counter to sync before restarting the Counter.



Test Case 1:

SUNSET BAY INF TEST - BROWN 203398116999

Allow Decimal Qty = No (SKU Masterfile)

Check Decimal Quantity = No (POS Settings)

Result: Counter will not block to scan this item with decimal quantity.


Test Case 2:

SUNSET BAY INF TEST - BROWN 203398116999

Allow Decimal Qty = No (SKU Masterfile)

Check Decimal Quantity = Yes (POS Settings)

Result: Counter will show an error message like the below image when scanning this item with decimal quantity.


Test Case 3:

IMPORTED COFFEE BEANS

Allow Decimal Qty = Yes (SKU Masterfile)

Check Decimal Quantity = Yes/No (POS Settings)

Result: Counter will allow scanning item with decimal quantity
