Main Terminal

1) Setting up Main Terminal

     i) Using a used iPad

Step 1: Do a factory reset (Ref: https://support.apple.com/en-my/ht201274)

Step 2: Update to latest iOS (Ref: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204204)

Step 3: Install ARMS F&B

Step 4: Setup Guided Access (Ref: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202612)

            -To restrict your iOS device to a single app (ARMS F&B app only)

            -To prevent someone from leaving an active session (ARMS F&B session)

ii) Using a brand new iPad

Step 1: Update to latest iOS (Ref: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204204)

Step 2: Install ARMS F&B

Step 3: Setup Guided Access (Ref: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202612)

            -To restrict your iOS device to a single app (ARMS F&B app only)

            -To prevent someone from leaving an active session (ARMS F&B session)

2) Launch ARMS F&B App only

Do not launch any other apps while running ARMS F&B app. If you have not setup Guided Access, please refer to Step 4 of Note 1 i) above.

3) Do Not Minimize ARMS F&B App

Keep ARMS F&B app on Main Terminal running at forth front all the time and never minimise it while you are using Mobile Terminal. If you have not setup Guided Access, please refer to Step 4 of Note 1 i) above.

Mobile Terminal Device

1) Using iPhone or iPod Touch as Mobile Terminal

Recommended Maximum copies of Mobile Terminal Device that can be used :-

2) Using iPad or iPod Mini as Mobile Terminal

To use iPad or iPad Mini as Mobile Terminal, the Main Terminal Device must be iPad Air or above and the maximum numbers is 2. 

Router

1) Router used must be solely for ARMS F&B system only (Main Terminal, Mobile Terminal, Customer Display and Printer only)

2) Do not allow any other device to be connected to the router.

Printing Mode

1) At ARMS F&B app, choose the right Printing Mode as Administrator > Printers > Printer Type

-Text Mode will give you better speed and Raster mode will give you better image quality.

2) Product Name is in English

-Choose either Text or Raster Modes.

3) Product Name is not in English

-Choose Raster to prevent printing output issue due to conflicting input of multi lingual characters.
